Thank you so much for visiting my site! I am an oil painter, wife, and mother of 2 boys. We live in Round Rock, Texas.  My paintings are a glimpse at what I find beautiful in every day life.  My goal is to capture the light, emotion, and beauty of landscapes, people and animals. My paintings are traditional in subject and technique using high quality materials. I pay close attention to the composition, light, and form to show the 3 dimensionality of the subject. I use a combination of hard and soft edges in my brushstrokes and glazing and blending techniques to help me accomplish this.  

I studied Art and Art History at Baylor University and have a BA in Art History. I've been drawing and painting most of my life and studied traditional painting at Gemini School of Arts and a private teacher and artist Danny Grant. I've attended numerous "en plein air" workshops by well known artists such as Kim English, Kathleen Dunphy, and Daniel Gerhartz in New Mexico, California, Colorado, Texas and New York. In 2019 my painting, "1969 Chevy", earned Best of Show at the Kerrville Arts Show and in 2021 I received 2nd place for "Peach China Roses".  My original works as well as high quality art prints are available here on this site!
